Throughout her career, Celia broke barriers as an Afro-Cuban woman in the male-dominated world of salsa, becoming one of the genre’s first truly international stars. Her music continues to bring generations together – leaving an immeasurable impact on New York’s Latin music community, and carrying the sound & culture of salsa around the world.
