Can I bring a camera?

Cameras are allowed with permission from venue beforehand, and content must be shared with the venue after. No flash photography is allowed without written permission or approval from venue staff. Please send an email to marketing@sobs.com to confirm your ability to bring a camera.

Will my photo be taken?

By entering this venue, you consent to photos and videos being taken during the event. These may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by the venue. If you appear in any media and wish to request the removal of a specific image or video, please contact us at marketing@sobs.com.

Where can I purchase tickets?

To purchase tickets online, go to the Calendar Page of our website, and select the event you would like to purchase tickets for. Once on the event page, click the yellow “Get Tickets” button.

Tickets are also available for purchase night-of at the door for all parties and for non-sold out concerts. If you see a concert marked as “sold out”, please call 212-243-4940 (ext 102), or email booking@sobs.com to see if tickets will be available at the door.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

No refunds or exchanges will be issued for any SOB’s events, unless an event is cancelled or postponed. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

How do I get to SOB’s?

SOB’s is easily accessible from all five boroughs and New Jersey. Train options include the 1, A, C, E, F, M, B, and D. Take the 1 train to Houston St and exit through the SE exit. For the A, C, E, F, M, B and D trains, take the train to West 4th St. and walk toward Houston St. For accessible transportation, exit at the NE Corner of W 3rd St. & 6th Ave at the W 4th stop.

Is there parking?

Street parking is typically available on Varick St. and surrounding streets.

Can I make a table reservation? What is the table minimum?

Table reservations differ per event. To inquire about table reservations, please contact manager@sobs.com or call us at 212-243-4940 (ext 102).

Generally, tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is a minimum food/drink purchase per person for seating. Seating is available for both small and large groups. For late night events, tables may require purchase of bottle service.

How do I book a private event at SOB’s?

SOB’s offers an array of private event options for both daytime and evenings. Pricing & details will vary depending on the specifics of your event.

Do you have food & drink available?

We have a fully stocked bar and kitchen open each night, with table service available. The kitchen closes at 9:30pm. The bar is open for the duration of all of our events. See our menu here.

For events that start after 10:00PM (i.e., late night parties), the kitchen is usually closed. To verify if the kitchen will be open for a late night party, contact us at 212-243- 4940 or email manager@sobs.com.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IS PERMITTED.

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, apple pay, and all major credit/debit cards. Cash discounts may be available on select purchases.

Is there a dress code?

Typically, SOB’s does not enforce a dress code. However, dress codes may vary on an event-by-event basis. To see if an event has a dress code, check the event page on our Calendar. If there is no dress code listed on the event page, this means there is no dress code enforced.

What is your security policy?

Every person and every bag is subject to search prior to entry. Bags will be checked to prevent outside food or beverages, illegal drugs, and knives or weapons of any kind. All food, drinks, illegal drugs, and weapons are subject to confiscation.

Do I need to bring an ID?

A physical government-issued photo ID (Passport, Drivers Licenses, Military ID, State ID) is required for entry. A photo of your ID will not be accepted. All IDs are scanned prior to entry. If someone is underage for a 16+ or 18+ show, a legal guardian over the age of 18 must accompany the minor to the event, and said guardian must receive prior written approval from the venue.

Is there a coat check?

Coat check is generally open during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Please call us at 212-243-4940 (ext 102) to confirm. Coat check is located downstairs and costs between $3-$7 depending on the item. We accept cash, card, and apple pay. Cash discounts are available for coat check.

Please note that SOB’s is not responsible for any personal property left in coats, pockets, and bags. There is a $6 penalty for lost coat check tickets and for items found unattended by security and brought to coat check.

Is coat check required?

Coat check is not required, but all personal items must be held or worn at all times. To ensure your safety, and the safety of your belongings, we do NOT ALLOW personal items to be left unattended, or placed on the bar, floor, or any venue surfaces AT ANY TIME.

Any personal items left unattended or set down will be brought by our staff to coat check, and are subject to the coat check fee, to ensure the safety of our patrons and their belongings.

I lost an item at the venue. Who should I contact? 

If you believe you have lost an item at the venue, please call us at 212-243-4940 (ext 102), or email booking@sobs.com with a description of the lost item. Please note that lost items are not held indefinitely. Contact us as soon as possible after the event about your lost item.

How does the Free RSVP work?

For events with a “Free W/ RSVP” ticket option, free entry will be provided to those who check in at the door within the designated time frame, regardless of when they arrive on line.

Please be aware that a “Free RSVP” ticket does not guarantee free entry. Free entry is offered on a first-come-first-serve basis and is subject to venue capacity. In the event of a long line, arriving early does not guarantee free entry.

To guarantee entry, you can purchase a “priority entry” ticket online.

What is the difference between Early Bird and General Admission (GA) tickets?

Early Bird and General Admission tickets both provide the same general admission experience. The only difference is how far out in advance the ticket is purchased. Early Bird tickets provide a limited-time offer for those who purchase their tickets the furthest in advance.
