Sounds of Brazil (SOB鈥檚) is NYC鈥檚 premier club for Brazilian & Caribbean music, hosting the city’s wildest and most authentic carnival parties for over 40 years. Opened in 1982 with a mission to amplify the music of the Afro-Latino diaspora, SOB’s is known for being the first venue to bring brazilian funk, soca, samba, and calypso to the New York City stage.
