Argentinian indie sensation Surfistas del Sistema is making waves once again, bringing their
signature blend of ‘80s-inspired pop and contemporary indie rock to SOB’s on Saturday May
10th!

What began as a passion project by multi-talented musician Francisco Frione in 2013 quickly
gained momentum, earning the band a Carlos Gardel Award nomination for Best Alternative
Pop-Rock Album in 2014. With a decade of evolution and an impressive discography of eight
critically acclaimed albums, SDS’s music has been recognized by Apple Music and Rolling
Stone Magazine, and they’ve amassed over a million monthly streams on Spotify.

Following a post-pandemic tour across Latin America, Surfistas del Sistema expanded their reach in 2024 with their largest tour to date, covering over twenty countries and fifty cities across Europe, North, Central, and South America. From headlining major venues like Lunario del Auditorio Nacional in Mexico to the stages at top festivals such as Vive Latino and Pepsi Music, Surfistas del Sistema continues to captivate audiences.
