‘Faces in the Crowd’ who started here: Wiz Khalifa, Pardison Fontaine, DESIIGNER + more!

Founded in 2003, the Faces In The Crowd Showcase has seen nothing but success. Faces In The Crowd is one of the longest running showcases in the country and have been holding showcases at SOB’s since 2012.

Hundreds of talented artists from diverse musical backgrounds have been showcased to high level label execs in both music and media, producers, artist managers, attorneys, consultants and music lovers alike; genres include and are not limited to: Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, Reggae and Pop. “Faces in the Crowd” has provided a platform for artist everywhere to be see.

The Faces In The Crowd Showcase series is proud to announce that it has helped four artists secure major recording deals with labels such as Universal, Island Def Jam, Atlantic and Interscope.

Over the years a lot of successful artist have performed in our showcase . Some of the more notable names are Wiz Khalifa, Pardison Fontaine, Royce Da 5’9, AWKWAFINA, Desiigner, Hopsin, and Justin Skye to name a few.

On December 2nd, SOB’s will be hosting another showcase. Hosted by one of the biggest personalities in radio, @MiaBelleNYC, and featuring sounds by the electric @Sumtotalmusic, I have a good feeling that we might discover someone great.
