Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament: NYC Bar Takeover

Calling all gamers! Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament is taking over SOB’s. Join us for a fan-run tourney & hangout for gamers, competitors, and anyone who just loves the energy of a good bracket.

SPECIAL GUEST PRO PLAYER DABUZ will be in attendance! Receive tips on your gameplay, and get the exclusive opportunity to practice your skills with a legendary pro smasher.

Players will compete for prizes for 1st (CASH PRIZE) and 2nd place (special prize), with a free shot for every match you win. Whether you’re here to compete or just enjoy the vibes, this night is for all in the Smash community.

HOW IT WORKS:

The tournament will run on one official setup provided by the host, displayed across five screens so everyone can follow the action. This is a 1v1 singles bracket, run by a tournament operator from start to finish.

Tournament entry is $18 (+fees) and requires advance ticket purchase. Players must arrive by 8PM to secure their spot in the tournament. Viewers enter free all night, so pull up and cheer your favorites on.

1 setup with Gamecube controllers, adapters, and all characters is available, but players are encouraged to bring their own. If you can provide a full setup, you will receive free entry & free shot. Please contact booking@sobs.com in advance to confirm.

Seating is available for players during gameplay. Table seating is available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and is reserved for those drinking/dining in. There is a $30 minimum food/drink purchase to be seated at a table.
