MEET THE ARTISTS:
Sister Nancy is widely regarded as the first female dancehall deejay/MC to achieve international recognition. She rose to fame in the early 1980s with her debut album One Two (1982), which included her signature track “Bam Bam.” The song soon became a global anthem, sampled and referenced in countless songs across Hip Hop, Reggae, and Pop (e.g. Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z, Main Sour, and more).
Big Boo is an Emcee from Brooklyn, NYC; keeping lyricism and the essence of Boom Bap at the center of her artistry. For years Boo has hit the ground running, sharing stages with artists like Roc Marciano & The Alchemist, Sister Nancy, and Wu-Tang Clan.
Divine RBG is a Grammy-nominated emcee, best known for his work with dead prez and Latin fusion group The D.E.Y. For over 25 years, he’s been known not only for his music but also for cannabis and political advocacy.

MEET THE DJS:
DJ Gravy is one of New York City’s most widely known reggae/dancehall DJs, event curators, and founder of LargeUp.com – a globally recognized platform dedicated to Caribbean music, arts, and culture. He is also the creator of the “Rice and Peas” Party, a fan-favorite NYC-based event that celebrates dancehall and Caribbean rhythms.
Large Professor is a producer/MC known for his iconic sample of Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” in the song “Just Hanging Out” (Main Source, 1991). The sample gives the track a laid-back, reggae-tinged groove, layered with Large Professor’s jazzy boom-bap.
MUDD Brothers are a dynamic Queensbridge duo made up of Foul Monday and Producer Plug. The group was started with their late mentor Killa Sha from Hip Hop super-group Killa Kidz, and Juice Crew affiliates The Super Kids. The group has collaborated with legends like Havoc and Prodigy (Mobb Deep), Busta Rhymes, and Tragedy Khadafi.
