Silvestre y La Naranja hit the SOB’s stage on their USA 2025 Tour, celebrating the release of their new album ALTER EGO!

Argentinian indie-rock band Silvestre y La Naranja is one of the most compelling acts in the Latin American music scene. The band consists of Justo FM (vocals), Fran Nicholson (guitar), Luco Grasso (bass), and Ferla Laprida (drums). 

With albums like ANIM4LES, SUPERSTICIONES, and SUEÑO CÍTRICO, the band was steadily grown, captivating an increasing broad and diverse audience. This success has led to frequent performances at major festivals, and tours across various cities around the globe, including two sold-out shows at Obras Stadium, and an international tour across Argentina, Latin America, and Europe. 

Their latest album ALTER EGO, released in May of 2025, brings an innovative and fresh sound, with indie and synth-pop tinges that combine synthesizers with guitars. The unique melodies highlight the iconic voice of their frontman, Justo. The band innovates by exploring new horizons, amplifying the infectious potential of their songs.

In a world dominated by virtuality and social media, this work explores the constant tension between the authentic self and the self we project. Between artistic impulse and the construction of a character. There is something performative, yes, but there is also truth in every gesture.
