Roc Marciano 4/20: A Steppin' Stoned Production

Tickets: $50

Age 21+

Roc Marciano, Errol Holden, Large Professor, Mudd Brothers

The 4/20 show you’ve been waiting for … celebrate your favorite holiday the right way with Roc Marciano, performing live in NYC for the first time in 2025 at SOB’s on April 20th. Doors open at 8:00pm, food & drink will be available.

Join us at New York’s home of Hip Hop since 1982 – SOB’s – for our annual 4/20 concert. Previous years have included headline concerts from Rakim, Jadakiss, The Alchemist, and Raekwon – this year we are stoked to partner again with Steppin’ Stoned to bring Hip Hop legend Roc Marciano to the stage, with support from PIMPIRE affiliated rapper Errol Holden for his first official NYC show, and DJ sets from Large Professor and MUDD Brothers (Foul Monday and ProducerPlug).

Produced by Seth Zaplin, the evening will feature a variety of cannabis products and accessories for attendees to explore, supplied by Zatix and Blazy Susan, along with vinyl records from the ProducerPlugRecords store. Additional support for the night comes from Hightainment, the first entertainment reviewer platform for the cannabis consumer.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

ROC MARCIANO: An MC and producer from New York’s tradition-rich Hempstead, Long Island, Roc Marciano is well-respected for his moody, claustrophobic beats and stream-of-consciousness, heavily stylized lyrics. Briefly affiliated with Flipmode Squad early in his career, he formed the short-lived crew the U.N., appearing on Pete Rock’s Petestrumentals in the early 2000s before going solo and earning massive acclaim for his self-produced 2010 full-length album. Collaborating with rappers and producers like Q-Tip, Ka, Action Bronson, Busta Rhymes, The Alchemist, Jay Worthy, Marci Beaucoup, and RR2, Roc has been on a 13-year run and has shown no signs of slowing down. He has continued to excel and recently signed a partnership between his new label Pimpire International and Roc Nation’s Equity Distribution.

ERROL HOLDEN:  Raised between Harlem and The Bronx in a Panamanian household, Erroll Holden is one of the fastest rising emcees in Hip Hop and the New York scene.  After years of hustling on rooftops and navigating the badlands of his concrete and steel universe, Errol creates art that shares vivid imagery and grim humanity. Recently, Errol signed a distribution deal with Roc Nation, and is affiliated with Roc Marciano’s PIMPIRE International imprint. This year, Errol was the first artist featured on Cam’ron’s new Freestyle Fridays series – Cam’ron says “the best lyricists are from Harlem, go argue with your Mother.”

LARGE PROFESSOR: Widely known for his initial work as a producer and MC with the rap group Main Source (Big Noyd, AZ, and Styles P), Large Professor is full-time producer working with such acts as Big Daddy Kane and A Tribe Called Quest. Professor originally became involved in rap when he won a tryout held by Main Source members K-Cut and Sir Scratch in 1989. Contributing significantly to the creative direction of the group, Professor eventually broke with Main Source, going on to lend his hand to albums by some of rap’s biggest names, including Eric B. & Rakim, Nas, and Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth. For his full-length solo debut, 2002’s 1st Class, Large Professor called in favors from friends including Nas, Q-Tip, and Busta Rhymes.

MUDD BROTHERS: Dynamic Queensbridge duo “Mudd Brothers” is a group of MCs currently made up of Foul Monday and ProducerPlug. The group was started with their late mentor Killa Sha from Hip Hop super-group Killa Kidz, and Juice Crew affiliates The Super Kids. The group has collaborated with legends like Havoc and Prodigy (Mobb Deep), Busta Rhymes, and Tragedy Khadafi. ProducerPlug Records (the record label and brick-and-mortar store founded by ProducerPlug) will also be sponsoring this event, and will have vinyl records available for attendees.
