We’re celebrating our 3-year anniversary since PMP’s 1st Showcase back in 2021!! Hosted by our very own Young Prince & sounds by COMPLETE on Saturday, June 8th at The Legendary SOB’s (21+) please join us for the second installment of our annual PMP Poetry Slam, join us for a night of drinks, full-service seated dinner, musical acts, and Spoken-Word Poetry.

Tables & Seating are on a first-come, first-serve basis. *EARLY ARRIVAL IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED*

Two Drink Minimum or $30 Limit Required – Remember to tip the bartenders! Doors Open at 6:00 pm – Slam at 6:30 pm

Judges Criteria Rubric = Total of 10 pts

• Quality of Context – Language contains a level of complexity and is thought-provoking.
• Poetic/Creativity – Language is poetic, creative in nature, and intentional
• Performance Style – Stage presence is unique to the poet and crowd engagement
• Overall Performance – Paced performance, articulation, overall presentation

poetry me, please is a community content hub and event series that provides a stage for Spoken-Word Poets across the world to showcase their talents. We are the largest poetry platform in NY averaging over 500 guests per show. We host shows on a monthly basis with several residencies across NYC. Our community includes over 1500 poets across the US and the UK.

What makes our community model so unique is how support is built into the program. Each randomly selected poet is provided with not only a platform to showcase their gift but high-quality content to help build their portfolio and grow their audience.
