About ALI A.K.A MIND: Independent Colombian rapper, MC, and producer drawing inspiration from the bolero ballads of Julio Jaramillio, to American rap artists Mobb Deep. His music comes from the realities of his life and how he perceives the world, passionately captured in each of his songs with messages of social awareness.  With a career spanning over 20 years his trajectory includes 14 international tours in more than 50 cities, and participation in iconic festivals like Estereo Picnic, Jamming, Concierto Radionica, and SXSW. He has also been included in Rolling Stone Colombia’s list of 10 Greatest National Records and 20 Most Important Songs of Colombian Rap, along with Shock Magazine’s 50 Best Colombian Songs. Beyond media accolades, he has earned numerous awards and nominations over the years, including Hip Hop al Parque Award for Best Guest Artist in the Colombians Abroad category, Zona57 Hip Hop nominations/awards for Best Solo Singer, Best Song, Best Videoclip, and Best album, and Best Album Awards. He further was chosen as artist of the year for Emitc LaSalle Radio and 99.1FM.  Most recently, ALI was picked by Spotify Latin America as Hip Hop Leader in Colombia, with international campaign “Lo Aprendí en la Calle.”
