S.O.B.’s Marketing Intern: Spring 2025
As a Marketing Intern at S.O.B.’s, you will work with our marketing team to promote upcoming events at the venue. The right candidate will understand and have an appreciation for live music culture, will be able to deliver consistently and quickly in a fast-paced environment, and will have strong communication skills. Responsibilities will include providing admin support for the marketing team, social media management, website administration/SEO, creation of marketing content, newsletter development, brainstorming marketing ideas & strategy, and assist in promoting shows via social media/physical flyering through school/personal networks. Open only to current college students eligible to receive school credit.

As a Graphic Design Intern at S.O.B.’s, you will work with our marketing, booking, and management teams to create flyers, videos, menus, screen visuals, and other graphics to aid in promotion of upcoming events at S.O.B.’s. The right candidate will understand and have an appreciation for live music culture, will be able to deliver consistently and quickly in a fast-paced environment, and will have strong communication skills. Responsibilities will include daily creation of graphics and videos. Candidate must have basic knowledge of Adobe, Canva, and video-editing software. Open only to current college students eligible to receive school credit.

As a Booking Intern at S.O.B.’s, you will work with our booking team to research, contact, pitch, and book artists at S.O.B.’s that can fill a 400-capacity venue. The right candidate will understand and have an appreciation for live music culture, and will be able to deliver consistently and quickly in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include weekly artist pitches, providing admin support to the booking team, coming up with showcase ideas for up-and-coming artists, promoting events through school/personal networks, and attending shows at other venues to discover new talent. Open only to current college students eligible to receive school credit.

ContactS.O.B.’s Audio/Visual Intern: Spring 2025
As an A/V & Tech Intern at S.O.B.’s, you will facilitate sound, stage, lights, visuals, and artists’ production needs on stage with our technical team. The right candidate will understand and have an appreciation for live music culture and will be able to deliver consistently and quickly in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be enrolled in some form of music, tech or production classes that show interest in this field, be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 70lbs), and have a flexible schedule with ability to work at night and occasional weekends. Responsibilities will include advancing shows, setting up the stage, assisting in setting up lights or video, managing equipment on stage, managing run of shows, assisting in stage setup, and communicating with the artists and their team. Open only to current college students eligible to receive school credit.

As a Management Intern at S.O.B.’s, you will work with our management director to coordinate various aspects of venue operations for an array of live events at S.O.B.’s. The right candidate will understand and have an appreciation for live music culture, be able to deliver consistently and quickly in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and must be able to handle time-sensitive tasks and challenges. Responsibilities will include providing admin support to management team, coordinating hospitality, scheduling, inventory management, and communicating with staff, patrons, and artists to ensure a positive experience. Previous experience or pursuit of a degree within hospitality or events management is not required, but is preferred. Open only to current college students eligible to receive school credit.
