We’re getting back to our roots with Reggae Sunset: an after-work happy hour & party for reggae lovers in New York City. 

Now with A LIVE REGGAE BAND for the very first time at Reggae Sunset! 

Join us on Wednesday May 14th at SOB’s – the city’s home of reggae since 1982.Groove to dub, roots, rocksteady, fusion, and a splash of dancehall spun by the city’s top reggae DJs Mikey Assassin and Alpha Red, along with a live performance from Vassell Meka & band, coming to you straight from Kingston. 

Grab a bite or a drink from our special Caribbean menu only available at Reggae Sunset, with patties, jerk chicken, red stripe, rum punch, & more. 🍃💨 friendly

An NYC staple for 40+ years, S.O.B.’s is widely known as the premier venue for reggae music in New York City. Throughout the 80s-90s, legends like Burning Spear, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Toots and the Maytals, U-Roy, and the Marley Brothers (Stephen, Julian, Ziggy, and Damian) took the stage, followed by contemporary stars like Chronixx, Beanie Man, Sister Nancy, Tarrus Riley, Kabaka Pyramid, Shaggy, Protoje, and more.
