Get ready for REGGAE SUNDOWN: PRE-JUNETEENTH YAADSTYLE!!! It’s the night before Juneteenth (no work Thursday), and we’re throwing down island style.

Kick off the night with Caribbean food and happy hour specials, then hit the dancefloor with an all-women selector lineup featuring Ayanna Heaven, Misbehaviour, and Amy “The Night Nurse” Wachtel, spinning roots, rocksteady, dub, dancehall, ragga, ska, soca, and more.

It’s a party. It’s a happy hour. It’s a celebration. And it’s 4/20 friendly.

RSVP for free entry from 8:00-8:30pm (free entry not guaranteed, subject to venue capacity), or purchase a ticket online for priority entry (skip the line) and arrive anytime between 8pm-close.

Food available from 8-11pm — we’re talking jerk chicken, patties, rum punch, red stripe … the list goes on.

An NYC staple for 40+ years, S.O.B.’s is widely known as the premier venue for reggae music in New York City. Throughout the 80s-90s, legends like Burning Spear, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Toots and the Maytals, U-Roy, and the Marley Brothers (Stephen, Julian, Ziggy, and Damian) took the stage, followed by contemporary stars like Chronixx, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Sister Nancy, Tarrus Riley, Shaggy, Protoje, and more.
