MajorStage Presents Angel Octaves

Hoboken, NJ born singer and songwriter Angel Octaves creates incredibly powerful soundscapes, infusing his soul/R&B based sound with pop and alternative elements. On his songs, Angel isn’t afraid to defy expectations or mix in some artistic dissonance, which really adds to the moods and scenes he is creating. Originally working under a different stage name and then releasing music under the artist name Violet Vendetta, he has refined and developed his sound over his young career and has settled into a unique musical niche as Angel Octaves. Angel released his debut 5-song EP “Love, Angel” early this year, and he is hard at work on his second EP that is planned for release late this year. 

“Desire” is Angel’s first single since the release of his EP, and it showcases his ability to create a complex and interesting soundscape that powerfully supports his silky smooth vocals. On the track, Angel is describing the inescapable pull toward things that you want, even if you want to try and resist. “Desire” is a short track coming in at just 1:39, but Angel’s lyrics and the mood of the instrumental very clearly get his thoughts across to the listener in a powerful way.
