We wanted a night of soul, R&B and funk, so who better to grace the stage than singer/songwriter Madison McFerrin? Based in Brooklyn, the soul singer has spent majority of her career grooming her talent with hopes of infusing old school soul into present-day mainstream music. In 2011 she formed a band called Cosmodore and together they toured the East Coast. She’s also shared stages with acts like Aretha Franklin and De La Soul. Now, she’s holding the stages down solo.

McFerrin will be performing songs from her EPs “Finding Foundations, Vol.1” and “Finding Foundations, Vol. 2”. Her voice sings of heartbreak, love, but also remains conscious to the world around her, as heard in “Can You See?,” a song about police brutality.
